East London, Round 5
The penultimate round of the Full Throttle national motocross championships was held in East London this weekend and the PS BadBoy Honda team had a great day!
The weather was perfect for riding and the track was a real challenge because of the wet conditions.

Easter weekend is always time for MX in Cape Town. A long standing tradition that sees the motocross fraternity spending every easter in the mother city. Perfect weather greeted the riders as they drove into a transformed Melkbos raceway. What was once a junior track in the “sticks”, was now the Cinderella track of Cape Town.
Wanting to collect as many valuable points as possible as we head into the halfway stage of the series, each rider was looking good for a possible podium or better.

The Rover track in PE is renowned as one of the toughest. Deep sand and ruts present a daunting task for the riders and those who haven’t trained will perish!!!
The team arrived there with great hopes after a successful round 1 in Durban. It wasn’t to be a perfect day however, as the tough track took it’s toll on the team.

The BadBoy Honda team enters its 5th year of running in 2011 and has taken great strides in becoming one of the dominant forces in SA motocross. Having secured some very loyal and generous sponsors over the years, the team has managed to attract and retain some of SA’s best riders.
